Centennial College Campus

Centennial College is Ontario’s first community college, it was established in 1966 and primarily serves the eastern portion of the Greater Toronto Area through four campuses and seven satellite locations. Our college is best known for its record of exemplary teaching, innovative programming and extensive partnership building.

Centennial is recognized as one of the most culturally diverse post-secondary institutions in Canada. Almost 100 ethno-cultural groups are represented and 80 languages are spoken on campus.

Our four campuses and eight schools produce future leaders. Let us help prepare you for career success.

At Centennial College, our vision is to transform lives and communities through learning.

The Library and Academic facility is now the main entry point for visitors to the College, and links to the existing buildings through an enclosed bridge. A lobby, lecture theatre, fireplace lounge and several theatre-style classrooms complete the ground floor of the building. The third and fourth floors provide bright library space and study rooms, while conventional classrooms are located on the second floor. The fourth floor also houses the President’s Office, the Board of Governor’s Board Room, and the President’s Boardroom. The new library offers modern technology with both in-house and remote access to digital resources, plus print and visual media collections. The learning-centered environment is open, dynamic and physically adaptable to accommodate various needs.

The new Athletics and Wellness Centre (AWC) is a Centennial College Student Association Inc. initiative that began in February 2007 after students voted in favor of constructing the building.

The AWC is a state-of-the-art facility with a 65,000 square foot gymnasium, an 80m indoor track, a climbing wall, a Wellness Treatment Centre, a cardio-fitness area with flat screen televisions, locker rooms and aerobic studios. The new gym also hosts varsity games and private functions. College is an exciting step into the future. There are many advantages to living in residence during your college years.

As a student, you’ll enjoy the convenience of being steps away from your classes and friends. You’ll also have the chance to take part in weekly events and get to know your fellow neighbors.
